3.     Evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design.

The King's Coronation

For the coronation of King Charles III, the children have been creating some fantastic artwork in their classes this week. They have collaboratively worked on a portrait of the King in the style of Chuck Close and have also done some cut out portraits using the King’s official coronation photograph.

Wildflower Project

Over 3,000 handmade flowers have been arranged at 20:21 art gallery for a Wildflower Project! This is a collaborative project with other schools in the local area and every child from year 1 to year 6 at Crosby made a wildflower of their own to add to this exhibition. It went on display on Saturday 29th April and will be available to see at the gallery throughout May.

Can your child spot their Wildflower?

Art Club

In art club, the children have been having lots of fun. We have drawn dragon eyes using oil pastels that we then made out of clay and painted using metallic paints and we have also been using salt and PVA glue to make planets that we will paint in watercolours.
