Mrs Tong is the subject lead for Art & Design.
Core Learning
Core Learning in Art and Design is:
1. Generate ideas by learning about great artists, craft makers and designers, and understand the historical and cultural development of their art forms.
2. Create – Build a repertoire of knowledge and skills to become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques as well as incorporating own creative ideas.
3. Evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design.

Horsing Around Project
Children from 5/6 got the opportunity to work with local artists Lillie and Lucy from the Dancing Tiger Scrapstore to help them with their designs for a horse sculpture that will be on display at Normanby Hall Country Park during the summer.
